The picture above was taken in Maya beach, the location where they shot the Danny Boyle film, The Beach. Being at such a beautiful spot, you can’t help but thank God for all the blessings you have received.
Year after year, we, as audiences, need programs that enlighten and inspire; programs that drives us to act and change our perspectives for the better, programs that give light to the human condition, on the ways in which we are all linked, regardless of race, age and gender.
At least, that’s what we try to do.
WYD gave us many opportunities to build relationships and learn from different individuals. I guess life is not about accomplishments as it is about learnings and growth really. I can say we were able to learn a lot, learn a lot about the craft through working and conversing with young, talented and passionate individuals who are making moves as well.
It at all started with a sense of urgency to share the story of such inspiring and passionate individuals to hopefully provide thought-provoking content to viewers, to trigger an emotion, to trigger an action, to trigger change.
It all started there.
When the odds are against you and you have the depth of clarity to listen to your own instincts and follow what is true for you, you will become the best that you can be.
Life is a beautiful teacher. Immerse in it.
Leonardo DiCaprio said in The Beach. “ If it’s too far, we are going to drown. But if we don’t try, we will never know right?”
I bet one way or another, we all want to know.
Why you do what you do,
